EthoATM is a type of encapsulation - ethernet over atm.
My uptime rarely stays over 12 hours, either something to do with my connection or the bebox disconnects about the same time every evening to re-sync at a lower speed.

My sky router has being doing that, it wasnt in the contract. I dont mind it to much but when on the rare occasions Im at home in an evening it gets annoying :(

the BeBox is a piece of junk though. I had the same issue, then i dropped a Linksys WAG54GS on the end of the line. Sync went up, and its been stable for 17 days now. Only reason it resyned then was because i movedmy office round.

I might pick up a Netgear in the new year, see if it makes any difference. Give them their due Be have been fairly good on the support side of things but if it is a problem with the Bebox there is nothing they can do.

Had to sacrifice a few mbps when I upgraded to Be Pro.
My uptimes only 2 days right now as I had to unplug a bunch of stuff while I was fitting my LCD wall mount but its normally weeks. Have to admit I havent had any connection problems with Be.
I couldnt imagine anything slower tbh! I know people say you dont need it that fast nothing can use it, but something can... it really can :) Thank Usenet! 2.2Mb/sec all day long.

If you were not able to get the netgear yet, you can just buy a cheap sky router in ebay and flash it.

Ive just been limited! :-( Think its because ive just started using newsgroups and maxing my little 2mb ADSL connection 24/7 (only 250kb/s down)
Im with AOL and ive never been limited before, but now between 6 and 11 i get limited to 256kB/s (30kb/s down) which sucks. :(
At the moment I get 13.78 \ 2.21 Mbits/sec.
The most I have mesured was 15.53 \ 2.39.
I know when its midnight because my connection drops every night bang on. :-/ I should probably contact be but its not affecting me in any great way other than something to set the clock by.
