Title: Drives open new window on click

But it should be opening in the same window, file type messed up or something, any of you know how to fix it?

Isnt that in tools/folderalternatives  open in same or new window ?

That is for folders and yeah thats set, its the - tool, folder options - file types DRIVE thats messed up, folders are file but if you go my computer, click a drive it opens in a new window

If you are talking about clicking on my computer and then on C: but C: opens in a different window, as does the folders...

Tools/folder options and then on Browse folders select open each folder in the same window. Click apply and close it down, should work as you want.

Really its a preference of how you want the system to work and not a fault. Same setting counts drives as folders.

That is set to open in the same window but it does not
