I believe its because Direct Overlays will only work on the Primary monitor.

Video works on both my monitors, it depends on your GFX card and the configuration youve got. Do you have a dual head GFX card or a splitter?

erm....

Ive got the 2nd output on my old shuttle working as the input for my new projector... and films etc.. work fine on it ?

didnt ahve to do anything special, just right click on the desktop, preperties, settings... then told it to stretch my desktop over the 2nd monitor :)

I get the same problem with my Radeon 9800 pro, video may work on the main monitor but just trying to move it to the second removes the picture.

And my second monitor just wont work! Itll only do clone :( Supposedly its because its an old CRT and its analogue, compared to my shiny new tft. Ahh well, back to one monitor I guess!

I have a Iiyama Visionmaster 21" CRT as primary and a Medion 19" LCD as secondary, providing the cables are right then there should be no problem in stretching your desktop across both.

hmmm, my brother installed the proper nvidia driver package on here so the 2nd output to the projector could be used as a seperate screen instead of a clone...

if I set it to 2 monitors it all works fine
if i set it to a monitor and a tv it wont do vid playback on the projector... maybe thats whats happening to you ?
