Ive got some videos that Id like to burn to dvd to play in the dvd player downstairs. I used to use a program that was free I think that wasnt bloated and got the job done nicely. However I cant remember what it was called and it was lost when I last reformatted.
So, any suggestions on what is a decent reliable non-coaster making dvd burning piece of software?
Err FAVC or Convertx2dvd?, Nero does it as well I believe?
aha, convertx was the badger I used last time, cheers!
No problem ;)
d/l too..... nero has served me well for years.... but the new version (which works with win7) doesnt want to play ball :(
converting now, hopefull itll be pretty good
I gave the windows dvd maker thing a go thinking theyd all be the same.... and burnt 3 dvds.... without checking them..... and the quality is terrible.... practically unwachable :(
omfg you ass bandits !!!!
i saw the logo at the start of the dvd with the "buy a proper version to get rid of this" message......
but I didnt realise it keeps coming back on and off every 5 min through the film !
just burned 6 disks with it too :-(
Ill try to fix nero instead ;)
Id fix convertx tbh, its a very good piece of software IMHO.
On a side note HandBrake is awesome for ripping DVDs and transcoding.
In terms of burning... DVDFlick is awesome as well. Burns just about anyformat into a DVD: http://www.dvdflick.net/

I would, but I dont think the quality is as good as nero
nero automatically changes the bitrate etc... so the film will fit perfectly on a dvd.... and when you watch the dvd the quality is exactly the same as the original avi....
convertx was aright.... but defenatly not as good as nero!
