Title: DVD players skipping during play?
Post by: Serious on December 18, 2006, 19:43:43 PM
I have two cheap DVD players, one of which has been stuck in a cupboard for a year and a half. Both now skip during film play (plays a bit, screen goes blank, plays a bit more) but without any pattern to the skipping, the time is very random.

This happens when I play both new and old DVDs on it.

Any ideas?

Pop into your local Whsmiths, Woolies, Currys etc and pick up and CD lens cleaner.  A CD with brushes on it.
