25k Peak Concurrent User barrier broken
Yesterday evening at 20:48 a new PCU milestone was reached when 25.665 EVE Players were logged in at the same time. This record follows a highly successful hardware upgrade of CCPs server cluster in London allowing CCP to remain true to its regiment of one unsharded virtual world with no instancing can hold.

What about, i have heard about it but never seen it.
Or i run Linux :D
Currently play it.
Im a jack of all trades at the mo, working towards owning my own POS to help my corporation get into the t2 production. Huge plans ahead involving carriers, dreadnaughts and motherships.
Well have 10 Carrier pilots by september apparantly.
Skills direction now currently training up skills to augment my current skillset. Things like motion prediction, drone specialisation, sharpshooter, navigation, and engineering.
Over in Providence at the mo, making lots of money from NPCing on an almost nightly basis.

is there a linux version or through wine etc?
I tend not to bother with on line games.

Corps having a major upheval at the minute,
the ceos having RL problems and the corps deteriating atm back down to its loyal and oldest members.
might even end up as the CEO before next week at this rate
Im looking to give it up in the future though, its frustrating enough and it soaks up a lot of time with very little reward
woo bigger ship, yay...... pfft etc....
my charcter is currently a jack of all trades, research, mining, production and light combat.
soon as mechanic is up to level 5 ill be able to research with any agent
Where is the poll option for "I signed up for the beta, played it once and never played it again"?
Where is the poll option for I used to play it alot until the game annoyed me so much I quit

Never really wanted to play it...... i have a life :D
lol. im still into it. I took a bit of a break from it for a few weeks. logging in only to change skills every now and again.
But im back to logging in daily now :) getting interesting, apparantly our corp has a few interdictors and recon ship users. Didnt know we were so advanced.
Plans are underway for a bit of a gatecamping session to kill some bothersome pirates :D lol.
Oh... and the other day a mothership flew through our system.
Im down in Querious, my corp is helping the FIX alliance build POSs to get soverignty for an outpost. Im one of the combat dudes so just fly around protecting the miners or killing pirates in my Raven...been in the game since retail with nearly 40m skills and full set of implants, not much touches me through 12000 shields with 60% resists.

Thats my corp
Aye my corp used to be around Period Basis :) 08s was our old home :)
Now were over in providence. Major plans in the future, hence the need for training up into capital ships. Also planning a massive recruiting drive at some point hopefully itll all go well :)
Whats your character name? :) Tend to try and keep track of tekheads folk so I dont end up shooting them in 0.0 lol unless im being yelled at over teamspeak :D.
Still got the game in a sealed package... Should really think about giving it a shot..
CD Accounts are a pain mate.
You will need to register the account, then register a second trial account, and get the CD account transferred over to the trial account by a GM. Theres no where on the site to enter CD keys.
gib_goblin - Member of Pheonix Labs - not in any alliance. : Thats my char.
Currently just south of Khanid kingdom in the Querious region..popping bloodraiders.
Never played it, doesnt look like my kind of game from the screenshots, plus could never come to terms with paying monthly
also ...

POS =
(http://www.sillyjokes.co.uk/images/p-jokes/toilet/cat-crap.jpg) ? :D
I thought that too at first! :P
POS = Player Owned Station, used to mine Moons, as well as many other useful features. :)
I really wish I had the time to play Eve, but Oblivion... :D
Anyone still playing Eve, it seems with the latest updates the game has become much more simpler to progress.
Tried it again, got bored with it again.
It's still far too much like real life for me, I'd sooner spend the time either playing something that completely disconnects from reality and lets me lose myself for an hour or two of pure escapism or put the time into earning money in real life rather than doing so in a facsimile of reality that can be just as stressful as real life.
I have no doubt I'll be trying it again in another six months! :)
I was disappointed with it the first time around but this time i have settled in quite nicely, and everything is all mapped out, however i am now sat here waiting for Gallente Frigates Rank 3 to finish before i can do my next proper mission, which is a bit gutting tbh but i knew it was coming sooner or later.
I'm still playing this. Really enjoy it too. I have a lot less time than I used to but I try to spend as much time as possible playing it.
I've been playing for such a long time now all the skills I have to train are level 5 and usually at least 2 weeks. The low sec/0.0 end game is very good too. It can take a bit of time to get there though. Probably a lot less considering they give new players a lot of help.
Stopped playing years ago. Still have all the tunes on mp3 though - and they take me back. Miss it but couldn't ever go back; way too absorbing.
