Title: Excel help
Post by: Pete on July 23, 2006, 22:56:37 PM
I have a massive list of words (over 4,000 of em) like this:

Word : Value

Is there an easy way to delete the text from the cells leaving just the numbers, or to just sort them based on their numerical values?

Save it as a text file and re-open using colons as seperators?

You could do a find/replace with *: in the top box and blank in the bottom, it will then just leave the numbers
