Title: Finalising.

Does Nero do it, if so how do I access it, also what apps do people use.

erm you tick the box that says "finalise disk (no further writing)"

Yeah, normally when you burn a disc you tick the box to finalise the disc or not.  What are you copying, or have you copied something already to disc and want to come back and finalise?  Why do you need to finalise?  Is it down to certain drives not recognising the disc?

it finalises itself by ticking the box, you cant finalise separately.

I bought a new DVD player, so far Ive done two DVDs OK, but the 3rd will not finalise, so if I could finalise it on here aswell, that would be handy, but I guess unless people do it, with certain software and tell me which 1 they use, its unlikely ill get help.

You can choose to finalise the disc or not, although if you are writing a large file ie a 700mb movie then you are forced to finalise.

In any case, not sure what you question is?

I use Nero for most things.

My stupid memory, I knew a App I had, did the job, I just installed, Ulead Movie Factory 6, that has it.
