It seems nippier

Oh that is much nicer....

Things you may not notice,
Lots of small changes like...

- New Image render, your images will look sharper and while the page will take longer to load you can go into the settings and increase it even further.
- Grab a tab and drag it off the browser onto your desktop or where ever and it will launch a new window of that tab.
- If you close a window you can now recover it in your history.
- Your history and bookmarks has been tweaked quite a bit
- Of course it is running the new javascript engine which is really fast.
Quite a few other things.
Big thing for me is html5 and css,  like with safari 4 and chrome 2.0. Great kit. No need for flash any more when this is being used more.

The second could you not always do that? Ctrl+Shift+T opens last closed windows...

You could do it with Tab recovery addons.

Thats TAB, not recover last tab. Recover last Window. Look in your history, not only can you still recover closed tabs but if you have 2,3,4 windows of firefox open and closed on in error with tabs you want etc you can now recover that entire window.

People are still using firefox ? How quaint

Chrome is crappy at present, it needs to step out of beta and into the real world before Ill consider it a proper browser.

Yes it still has a couple of issues but very few now, and it is fast and simple. I like it, I guess eventually itll take over as its google.

Nah, it wont and is not. Your a minority.
IE8 currently has more users. Firefox is now the leading browser and heading to 50% market share now, so the other comment above is rather amusing from ya
FF3.5 is faster then chrome and does and can do a hell of a lot more.
Any developer for example not using FF and web developer tools and firebug - ROFL!
