Title: Freecom digital tv dongle - recording stuff
Post by: Pete on February 05, 2007, 18:18:08 PM
k Ive just worked out that double-clicking on something in the epg comes up with the record options bit, and I think Ive set it right to record something at 9pm tonight. Do I need to have the DVB-Tplayer software running at the time or will it open itself to start recording? If it needs to be on does it need to be on the same channel?

Id say that the software needs to be running but can probably handle switching itself to the correct channel. Is the software that comes with it one that looks a bit like its trying to be XP media cantre edition? If so Id reccomend using ProgDVB. Small, fairly lightweight and has soem nice options for recording, and setting the mpeg-2 decoder you want to use etc.
