Title: Full reinstall
Post by: Serious on October 07, 2007, 02:13:53 AM
First time in over 2 years, thought I might as well start from scratch rather than Lazarusing an old backup.

Seems to have gone better than I expected, only three hours inc updates, AVG and ZoneAlarm :)

pah !

Ive got it down to under an hour now !

quick format, re-install xp, then all the major programs / etc.. re-installed and all favs. email etc.. setup :P

(tho its a bit easier when youve got all the iso images sitting on a network drive ready to use ;)

I havent done a clean install for couple of years now, suppose I should soon.

Usually takes me a couple of hours, then every few days I realise I havent installed something so have to download it - this continues for about 2 months.

Takes me about an hour, but yeah same deal. I find that I need to reinstall things for months afterwards.
