Yes this looks absolutely stunning, no other word, but then you wouldnt bet against Rockstar coming up with the goods. 8)

And apperently they having an easier time making it look lush on the 360 and in some aspects its going to look a bit dodgy on ps3

Seen this a number of times now at the moment - ps3 can do nice jungle type environments and can do water really nice etc but buildings, multiple shadows and mutliple light reflections etc in a city environment it comes off 2nd best to the 360 purely down to it must be to complicated to code not becuase it cant, it just does not turn out to well when you make it - over time I am sure developers will crack it but by that time 360 will like older consoles be unravelled further and pushed as well so you really still wont be able to see any real differences overall bar the price.

I cant wait to see the actual game mechanics, seems they have a very good world and activity with accurate smart traffic, dying to see explosions and crashes and how that works.

One thing for me that has lacked that I hope they do is actually having more indoor areas like shopping mauls with people which you can crash through as as shotcut

What an awesome game - had all the old GTAs on the PC - only got a PS2 (my first console since the megadrive) because GTA:SA was out first on it

looks like Ill be getting either a 360 or a PS3 then... depending on date of release for each and/or best graphics on a particular platform

just one other thing -  the character seems to be a bit of an albanian type??? - question is - does rockstar have the balls to involve some terrorists in the plot (especially given the location) - obviously not the main character being a terrorist but perhaps later finding out he is working for some terrorists (in addition to the various gangs/mob bosses etc...) and perhaps having one of the missions beng to stop an attack.

or maybe he is just a recent italian immigrant/mobster on the run & Im reading too much into the funny accent/dark skin & beard

Youll be wanting a 360 for the exclusive content that Rockstar are doing for it, and the game is being released on both consoles at the same time.

Is there any specific reason why that would be or is it down to extras currently possible via Live for the 360?

I think it looks excellent and I had my pre-order in for it back in October thanks to the HMV silly % off orders offers :D
