to eliminate things I put this in my PC, its a GeForce 6200 LE 128, turbo cache 256MB., it reports 512MB,

Why is it doing that, thanks.

maybe it is a 512mb & was badged wrong?

I have had that, bought a  7800gt online 256mb and turned up and was the 512mb which was more expensive

Its using some of your system memory, thats what the TurboCache means.

doing up old computers, how fun on board chips and memory mess around fun was had.
