I was running it on an MSI Wind U100, but you had to check every time there was an update that it wasnt going to kill your install.
That, and farting around with kext files.

Ive done 2 - a netbook running hacked Leopard and a desktop running Vanilla Snow Leopard with a boot loader instead of hacked kernels.

Both needed some fiddling but both ran well once built. The issues though were with updating and more importantly needing to update to run various things I used. Eventually I just moved back to Win 7. I came to the conclusion that as much as I liked the shiny OSX Pro Tools is better on Windows, Garageband isnt a patch on Beatcraft (no matter how much the fanboyz try to tell you it is) and I didnt really use Aperture after the initial load!

If you do want to do it though I highly recommend using tonymac86.coms iboot with a proper Snow Leopard DVD. Its easily the best Hackintosh experience and easy to sort compatibility out (I had Quartz extreme working and everything)

insanelymac.com forums for guides. done it twice with gigabyte kit which is by far the easiest. dont think ill look back to be honest. hate me all you want, but proper webapp development like what i do is just easier under *nix and os x is the easiest of those to use.

i also happen to think that once i get her indoors on a macbook, ill never get it back, as its just easier to use.
i guess this is the divisive arguement, people complain about how theres only one mouse button, about how its a fisher price os, but when you dont spend your time messing with pcs anymore, you just want something to work, it has a habit of beating windows Vista/7 into a cocked hat in that respect. and xp just looks like its ten years old these days.
