Did you play it on your own or have your mates round?

Hmm not sure I totally agree with that. Having playing both wii and xbox 360 quite a bit now Im far happier with my wii. Xbox 360 is cool and has more solo play emphasis and the gfx are superb but the games are just updates/improvements of xbox/ps2 style games. Theres little thats new or exciting. The wii has brought a new dimension to the gaming arena which I really like. I dont care that the gfx arent as great, I dont care that its not as good at playing burnout 24, Pro Evo 33, or the endless identical releases in the EA Sports franchise - Ive got slightly older and tamed down versions of those on my original xbox and was bored of them 3 years ago. I want to see something different for my Ã,£Ã,£s and the Wii I think gives me just that.

If thats the case why do you still own a 360.

I dont disagree with that at all, but at the moment the Wii is being carried by Zelda (single player)
I still stand by that its the best party console atm, and im sure Mario Party
38 is going to be great ;)

lol I dont actually but thats due to money not the console. Dont get me wrong - I still consider myself an Xbox fan because its a great system with stunning gfx and power. But the games dont offer anything new or original. I just think that theres been a massive hype about this next generation of consoles and the expectation has been huge, and the only one that really feels like new technology is the Wii.

Fair dos, the whole new technology thing depends how you think about.
Some might argue that the point and shoot games using the wiimote are not a million miles off from the 1984 classic duck hunt add some motion sensors and use both hands and you have the Wii control system :D It took them 23 years to come up with that!?

Fair point! Mind you if you add some motion sensors then there you are - something new! (Im ignoring the lousy sidewinder effort on PC because it was CRAP!). Your probably right to be fair - but it does feel different to conventional consoles and that I like - its different. But then Nintendo have always been that way. Im sure Microsoft and Sony will pilfer the new ideas soon anyway as they always have done (well if Sony ever gets over its mid life crisis it seems to be having!)

Yes youre right, I like the way it feels, and I hope it delivers the goods I really do 8)
I also hope that MS and sorney leave the idea alone, or not actually, because by the time they pick it up it wont be innovative anymore
Snowboarding! :D
And what is it with the fetish these guys have for stealing bridges? Bridgecrack?
