HTC One X

I ordered one for my wife last week and have been incredibly impressed with it. Just placed an order for another for myself.

£370 total 12 month contract cost (after TopCashBack) on Vodafone (300 mins, 3000 txt, 500Mb)
http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/free-htc-one-x-12-month-vodafone-contract-36-a-month-12-mths-possible-50-quidco-1215057

The main points vs the heavily promoted Samsung S3:

Positive
Better camera in low light (f2.0)
Half the price (and 12 month contract)
Better look and feel

Negative:
Worse batter life (although much improved with recent firmware - so far its been at over 70% remaining by the end of the day with light use)
Fixed battery (HTC provide a 2 year warranty should this become an issue)
No memory expansion (30Gb is enough for me)

I'm leaving my wife's stock but will be flashing mine with Revolution HD rom for additional speed and battery.

Anyone in the market or also got one?

Install Juice Defender.

In other news, the Galaxy S2 gets way better life than that.

That was with very high use, an hour or so of Need for Speed, constantly on wifi and using it all day, but it is still poor.

Oddly when the screen isnt on the battery life is exceptional, I got my wife one as well, its been on battery for 36 hours and still has 60% of battery left.

I got me a Nokia N9 with MeeGo, I like it as it is open source and I can go in in developer mode and change things over terminal by SSH etc. :)
and it is possible to dual boot into android (if ever necessary) if I change kernel.
