...the implausible scenario and bad cgi fest.

Watch it on DVD, farily dissapointed.

Ive got to agree, it started off well, then in typical Speilberg fashion went totally over the top. Even an 8 year old would have found it far too outlandish towards the end Im sure.

Nowhere up to the standard of the originals and certainly not up to par with the likes of National Treasure either.

 :w00t:  :w00t:  :w00t: just about manages a low 3 w00ts. This should easily have earned 4+.

Is it worth seeing if youre not an Indy fan boy like you two.

I really enjoyed it!

I thought it was very true to the original trilogy, a nice (and not patronising) mixture of comedy, action and romance.

I didnt find the CGI offensive either, it is noticable which isnt ideal but it was only for seconds at a time.

Gets a full bucket load of w00ts from me!

Were Arnie fanboys, not Indy fanboys :P

Its a fun film, it just goes over the top I felt. You might think differently.

I quite enjoyed it.

End of the day its not any more far fetched than the others when it comes to story!

So if you lost interest in National Treasure after the first two hours of them talking about the map on the back of the thingy....

I watched DH4. I watched AVP. I watched T3. I watched Rocky XVII. Im not watching this.

I also am not an Indy fan, I enjoyed the originals but I dont own them on DVD or anything.

I just wanted to see a good film, which I didnt, its not terrible or anything, just was expecting more :)

I was disappointed also.

Wasnt a bad film, was wasnt wonderful either.  Original 3 are definitely better.  Id give it a 6/10.

It was entertaining enough.

Just a bit rediculous tbh.  Tbh I wont even be buying the DVD.

i thought the plot with the aliens was implausible. but that was the only part that let it down. thinking about the others, wasnt the plot at least sort of possible in one way or another.

up until the space ship being the size of half of the planet, i wasnt worried depsite having read this thread before i went to see it. then i thought, you know what, they all believe in aliens a little too readily for my liking.

not too bad though. 4 woots from me.

I thought it was the most plausible plot so far actually,

still its not up against much competition in that regard, what with the Ark of the Covenant and the Holy Grail having both turned out to do what they said on the tin.

I thought the first half hour or so was weak beyond all belief, but it picked up into quite an enjoyable if rather silly film thereafter.

Enjoyed it. Compared to other Indy films the plot isnt over the top IMO.
