My gfs Internet is sky connect speed test is sub 2mb most of the time but the router is reporting over 8000k downstream seems a bit odd that it's so slow. Any ideas?
Do you know what her actual distance from the exchange is? This will help give a better indication

Thatll be your max theoretical speed, assuming you are on adsl, you're rarely going to reach it, it'll largely be dependant on other users on the same exchange as well as distance from it, I think speed test .net gives a map now, but might have been another site, but shows what other people are getting in the same location.
