Title: IpCop
Post by: bear on January 20, 2007, 00:47:42 AM
I stopped using floppyFW and are now using IpCop (http://www.ipcop.org/) in a PII 300Mhz machine with an old 2GB fujitsu HDD and two 3comm 100 mb/s NICs . I needed faster NICs as I upgraded to 24 Mbits ADSL so I upgraded everything else as well (Had a 486 /66 Mhz before) IpCop works just great and have a good webinterface for settings + update system.

I just did this upgdate :)

QuotePatch gzip for CVE-2006-433{4,5,6,7,8}, tar for CVE-2006-6097. Upgrade to apache 1.3.37, dhcp-3.0.5, fcron-3.0.1, gnupg-1.4.6 CVE-2006-{6169,6235}, openssh-4.5p1, openssl-0.9.7l CVE-2006-{2937,2940,3738,4339,4343}, rp-pppoe-3.8.
Add Bulgarian, Catalan and Urdu languages to web interface. DHCP lease list enhanced. VPN reconnection improved.
New squid proxy option to restrict proxied access between locals lans (servers on green or blue net)
Allow a bigger swap partition (for new install only), addition of memtest86.
Apply 1.4.12 and 1.4.13 updates then reboot   2007-01-14   2007-01-20
013   1.4.13 update   Upgrade to apache 1.3.37, kernel 2.4.33+WE18+wireless_tools.28, bast-0.9.3, e1000-7.3.15, pulsar-4.0.22, tg3-3.66d, velocityget-1.23, wanpipe-2.3.4-3.
