Title: ISP Test help
Post by: neXus on March 12, 2008, 21:27:44 PM
I got issues with my broadband here in NZ with 7-8mb line connection with 3mb is actual speed tests and for some reason only 55kbps or less download speeds from anywhere and when I leave NZ in terms of the connection everything goes to pot in terms of ping etc

Anyone got a good 1-5mb file to download from a uk site and one in the us? about the same size for good comparison for actual download rates at all?

Better to try a decent size file, a small one will just give an indication of burst speed.

A game demo or something from EA would be ideal.

Yeah but I got to run multiple tests in a day and I have usage caps, so really I cant :)

Fault to be fixed but needs identifying 8mb just about otherwise when its fixed

My up is over 800kbps from 140kbps so that was fixed already
