Any Java developers here want to work for my ex-company maintaining the software I wrote. It can be a part time role on an evening and weekend, or during the day around your other freelance contracts. Or if you know anyone else please get them to reply. You dont need to be an expert just adapt at Servlets. Please dont reply if you are a student - as without exception you will be a sack of sh*t.

i wondered what a servlet was...
java 1.1? :P
I could do it, but its java, and while it is stupidly powerful and secure, I am still in hate mode from Uni :)
500 Servlet Exception
java.lang.LazyStudentFoundException: Index: 0, Brain: 0
System.out.println("NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooo")

I know what you mean Sam, but, you went through uni too so it looks a bit on the dodgy side
And I have met people who have passed degrees, think they know everything and it turns up they are still incompetent. One in a million has to be suitable though :D
excluding people with degrees is gonna be tricky. Just about everyone under 28 has one :)
Not me! And Java was one of the reasons I failed.

I said students not people with degrees.
Students are a waste of space, its not until people turn 25 that they learn what getting up prior to noon is about.
