Well, I recently did this to my work laptop

And we have accidental coverage.

The original cost of that system, 2 years ago or something was £2200.

So I have had to spec up a modern version. Ended up with this on the way!!

Nice mate, good processor, the graphics aint to shabby either :D

It still shocks me to see Napster on modern laptops considering their roots :P

So the rolling road software you downloaded proved to be a hoax?   -)

How much is the new one and what is it? (I cant tell from the damaged picture).

Ah if Id read the whole kit list I could have worked that out :) duh

Maybe I could pick the best bits out and get it for less than 2800 pounds + vat......

hehe its amazing how many old laptops fall out of moving cars, get run over by mioving cars, or get stolen from unlocked cars.

Got the new laptop today. Its ridiculous.

Screen is the best I have ever seen, and its faster than some high end desktop pcs!

I have my own 3x3 802.11n card - it actually came with the dell 5100 wireless N card, but not as good as the one I have

Battery life on full tilt, with keys at full brightness is under 2 hours on the standard battery. I have a bigger battery for it too.

Its possible to get it to around 3 hours on std battery.

Thats pretty good battery life, I chuck a game at mine and it poos itself and gives up the ghost in about an hour!

It came free with it, I just use sophos or trend as we resell them, so the enterprise versions so they cost me nothing.
