Title: Laptop Screen Artifacts
Post by: DEViANCE on August 15, 2007, 20:43:04 PM
My sister has given me her laptop to look at because the screen is artifacting.

The laptop itself is working perfectly (its just installed winxp pro with no problems), just the screen has gone mad.

anyone know what could be going on?

edit, just discovered that you can stop it doing it by tilting it in different positions

Cable will likely be lose.  Youll need to pop the cover off between the screen and the top of the keyboard.  Youll likely see the cable under that.  Usually is the motherboard end works lose.
