You are at liberty to do either or both. What you mean is you are not inclined to do either.

Quite like Linkin Park and they put on a decent show live.  They need to stop inviting JayZ to gigs though.

PS: Spend enough time in proper rock clubs and gigs to not have to justify it.  Theyre just good in the same way Lost Prophets are :)  Rock snobbery is laughable lol

Linkin Park are to rock as Shania Twain is to country music. They smell of contrivance, formula, and Pro-Tools.

But if you like em, thats not going to chap my ass one bit.

What he said exactly!

SteveF: Whats so bad about JayZ - He has actually made a couple of really good records.

I dont like the whole genre fan boy thing alot of people have when it comes to music.

He doesnt go down well at Linkin Park gigs.  He was bottled when he came on stage at Leeds and he was booed off the stage when he came out at sheffFest (was a proper rock night so Linkin Park was pushing it - JayZ tipped the balance tho).

Hes fine on his own but Linkin Park walk a fine line in rock circles at the best of times - he really doesnt help matters.  Personally hgave no problem with him - just about every band puts out some good stuff and a lot of crap.  Hes done some good tracks and I actually like the reanimation album he did with Linkin Park.

Ive been a fan of LP for quite a few years, and in that time Ive been told to luck off and listen to some real music, and also been spat at whilst wearing an LP tshirt.

Funny how those same people get up to dance when an LP song comes on that their girlfriends dance to.

You limies take your pop music way too seriously. Seems I wouldnt be safe walking around in North Yorkumbrumshire in a Mahler t-shirt for fear of some zealot Mozart fan kicking the sh*t out of me while yelling, "dum dum dum, DUM, dum dum dum!"

You should come here and visit. We could have some bourbon and whittle a little on the porch.

Youll find most people in cities who actually go out regularly dont give a damn.  Its only kids and people who sit at home listening to one album on loop that get worried by it all.  Go to any rock club/gig and noone gives a sh*t - theyre just trying to find the shortest path to the bar and happy that someone is playing

Theres nothing wrong with using Pro Tools, its industry standard for layering music. Plenty of artists use it, not just the bublegum-pop brigade. Nothing wrong with a bit of Twain either :P

This is also true, pricks that go along to get drunk, heckle and talk about the football throughout a gig deserve a good s***kicking though.
