Title: Loading RAID drivers to install XP ...
Post by: addictweb on August 25, 2007, 12:04:26 PM
Following on from this (http://www.tekforums.co.uk/posts/list/9074.page) thread. I now have a floppy drive for my pc, and also a USB floppy drive for my laptop (to make the relevant disk).

Now, does anyone know how to make a disk that XP will load drivers from?

The motherboard is a Lanparty NFII Ultra and im not even trying to install RAID drivers, just onto SATA.

I have tried putting the drivers (http://us.dfi.com.tw/Support/Download/driver_download_us.jsp?PRODUCT_ID=1524&CATEGORY_TYPE=MB&STATUS_FLAG=A&SITE=US) onto the floppy, ive also tried making the floppy bootable but windows cannot see the drivers.

It asks for txtsetup.oem which I dont seem to have.

Anyone know how to do it?

the files should be placed into root & not in a directory/sub directory

That may have been the problem, however I seem to have solved the problem by using a floppy image meant for the Lanparty NFII Ultra B

Cheers for the reply, ill know for next time!
