London Philly have take some of the best (and some dubious) game tracks and recorded them with the full orchestra... Some of them will be damn good but others I'm not so sure about.

Also when it comes to the choice of tracks I can agree with some of them but where are the older more epic pieces from the likes of Half-Life and Homeworld? Games that had music that truly helped you get sucked into the story but then again that's just IMO.

Example Track: Hans Zimmer's Modern Warfare 2 (http://soundcloud.com/kwall-1/call-of-duty-modern-warfare-2)

That list is garbage if you ask me, it's not the 'greatest' music at all, its just fanboy music.

Well yes its obviously aimed more towards the more 'main stream' audience but I think a couple of the tracks will be worth a listen. I won't be buying it but will check out some of them when they start appearing on the likes of youtube :P

Hopefully if it sells well enough there will be a few more albums in a similar vein with a better choice of tracks.
