mafia was a good game, but it was very linear it didnt have the openess of GTA. I mean sure you could drive around the city but there were no extra games like driving a taxi or police cars etc
still it was a good game and i enjoyed it a lot

Ageed it wasnt as open as GTA - I just preferred it probably because I love the old gangsters theme! One of my fave games ever.
