My cat knocked a bottle of water over onto my Logitech MX700 mouse this morning and I think it is dead.  Is the MX1000 the best current mouse out there right now?  I really liked my MX700 and would like to find something similar.  What do you recommend?

loved my microsoft optical cordless before it, but this is better, much more acurate

Take it apart and dry it, its likely fine.

I have already tried that and it is definately dead.

I like the looks of the G7.  I will have to think about it and decide between the G7 and the MX1000.  There is only $2 difference in price at newegg.com.
