Title: Microsoft To Offer Vista to XP Downgrade
Post by: Cypher on September 24, 2007, 18:51:02 PM
QuoteMicrosoft is offering a downgrade to XP option through the original computer manufacturers. If you have either Home version of Vista though, youre out of luck - only those that bought computers preloaded with Vista Ultimate or Business qualify for the downgrade.

Seems to be a joke to me.

Its an over the top assumption people are saying M$ meant that the SP1 will allow you to turn off a lot of stuff and have things turned off automatically for optimisation like they did with xp as well as interface changes

I think they should be focusing on fixing driver issues and making the 64bit version effective :)

I still think they may do a xp similar platform with the nice bits of vista and dx10 as a vista version, well hoping :)
