After getting a DG834GT off ebay, I have found out its a Sky version. Which has Skys firmware on it.
So I wanted to put the Netgear firm ware on it as sky are bastards and only let sky users use their sky netgear routers.
So Ive tried downloading the firmware from the webby, both for the DG834 and the GT models and both times when "upgrading" from the control panel its saying :
QuoteUpgrade file is not the correct type or version for this device.
Upgrade failed.
Please obtain the correct file and try again.
When Ive tried using the recovery tool it wont detect the device after selecting the network card.
Is there anything else I can try ?
