When I play on my Xbox 360, the NAT type is always on Strict, meaning I get problems hosting or playing a few games.
When I go onto the routers settings, I just click apply on basic settings not changing anything.
Afterwards, I tested the network again on the Xbox 360 and this time the NAT type was showing as Open.
Now I dont really want to keep going into the router each day to sort this out so can anyone help me out on how to keep the NAT type as Open on my Xbox 360 without affecting other computers in the wireless network?
enable DMZ in your router, goto WAN Setup, tick the DMZ default server and enter the IP address of your Xbox and ur done.

Cheers lac dude!
Much appreciated. Now I can enjoy gaming properly without problems connecting to or hosting games.
or, if youd prefer not to use the DMZ then you can just map the LIVE! ports through:
UDP 88
TCP/UDP 3074
Tried to port forward it but not worked as kept saying NAT type as Strict. The DMZ method is better and still shows NAT type as Open.
Similar router, upgrade your firmware, set your xbox staticly and then open the ports.
