New Samsung V+ box

I persuaded Virgin to give me one of the sexy new Samsung Virgin V+ boxes on the grounds the old one was slow and crap.

Its much better, still not quite as good as Sky but near enough. No more laggy channel changes. You do lose the phono audio out though which I will miss.

Worth a call if any of you have the old box and can be bothered to exaggerate how crap your current box is.

meh, I got the full sky package for £25 a month inc the HD channels.

How?

I just ordered TV-Phone-BB for £41 for the first 6 months, then £51 after. No sports or movie channels. HD Box though.

it was a sky friends & family code, it was on hotukdeals as well as tons of more sites.
1/2 price on the package + they waive the £10 HD Subscription. I pay £24.50  month - didnt bother with ESPN.

they tend to do this every 4-6months - so its worth keeping an eye out.
Last one expired in mid March, so there will prob be another one in the summer.

Yeh, thats madly cheap. More HD channels too i think.

I pay £52 for 20mb broadband, unlimited phone and all tv channels except movies and sports. Dont think I could get it cheaper elsewhere when you factor in BT line rental.

Also phoned virgin and complained about my router dropping so theyre shipping out one of their netgear wireless N ones. Well see if its any better.
