I broked my phone :gag:
Has anyone swapped a screen on one of these before? I'm wondering if it's worth paying someone else to fix - I like the N4 a lot and don't want to have to pay loads for a new phone.
Yeah I have. Not worth it. Its fiddly but doable with patience that said. I replaced the screen but f**ked the digitizer connector up and wasted £70 on it.
Buy a MotoG it was what I went with. Cost me £126 for the 16GB model when the first edition came out and its bloody awesome.
Enough oomph to never want for my old nexus 4. Pure android experience. Regular updates from google. Its basically a poor mans nexus 4.
The second generation out now supports LTE/4G too.
I trashed it trying to peel the front off - it shattered and then a flappy bit of brittle plastic underneath broke off so I thought fk it. I'm using a knackered old phone - I ain't paying ££££ for another phone.
ive got a nexus 4 thats about to be surplus, you can have it for 30 quid.
only thing im a bit unsure about is the battery, im not sure if its the amount of time i use it or if its on its way out. only got 10 hours user out of it yesterday, but it was constantly playing music and i was on the web a lot. plus i've got 3intouch running permanently somehow.
over to you.

I bought the first gen one too and dropped it after two days, i was a bit gutted at first looked on the net and worked out the new screen was £25 less than a phone and bought another phone lol
And to sum it up, for the £100 or so you pay its a fantastic phone!
