Might as well continue with FF and install the noScript addon
:)
or you could get the latest muBlinder (3.52 I believe)
and download Msie 7 with updates and all others (I just dit and had 104 updates)
first you can try windizupdate.com using FF.
If u cannot find muB give me a PM

1: check the firewall hasnt blocked it, this can happen.

2: do virus/spyware scans, just in case.

3: if its on a network go tools/internet options, connections tab, LAN settings, and unclick Automatically Detect Settings. Click ok to get all the way back out and shut down IE. Go back in again and reclick it, go back out again and shut down IE restart IE and it should scan for the network settings, this can occasionally end up stuck.

4: reinstall IE from scratch.

I can guarantee you that allways does bugger all if IE has developed a problem itself.

IF IE is corrupt, the only way I have been able to restore all baring a reinstall of XP is is by restoring it to a "factory state" from the advanced tab.

You WILL lose your favourites if you dont back them up first, it is part of the process.
