Come on then, what do you guys think??? anyone have both? Im tempted by the K800 because of the better photos, because I will be using it for this quite alot... But the N95 is proper Tek! Does anyone use the N95 and do they have any cool software?
Thanks for your help guys!

v happy with my W800i, dunno how similar it is to the cybershot onr.
think my mate at work has the n95, he seems chugffed with it so far.
not uber useful i know, but theyre both good phones.
So far N95 has more, I want one :D
W800 isnt too similar, I prefer the K800 to the W800....
But the N95 is a lot of good nerding, just want more software available for it VNC/WOL/TOMTOM etc etc
Either are fantastic phones.
The N95 is more the geeks phone with the features you will never completely use.
SIP client. No need to say any more.
Used N95 on the weekend.... OS is sooo slow.. especially taking pictures.
Check out the XDA Orbit.
If your mem is near full a SonyEricsson is slow as well.
Go for a windows smartphone instead.
Useless things, both Nokia and SE.
Right I have come to a semi decision... I think I am going to go for either the K800 or K810, just because the main thing I am going to use on the phone is the camera.. and its by far the best camera phone. As for the other features I realistically will use them for a little bit then never use them again.
As for Kunals recommendation I cant find a similar option on T-Mobile, not a 3G option anyway, and the camera is not as good as the K800 (Going on T-mobile as I can get half price for life and they have the best talk plan with FlexT really).
SIP is a good idea but I dont anticipate using all my minutes on the plan that Ill be on, otherwise I would consider it.
Now just got to choose between K800 and the K810... Want the 850 really but not due out for ages!!

Which one has SIP?
My new place is going to be fully SIP/VOIP enabled :-D
Would be a huge factor for me, I can upgrade in about 4 months
Currently use a n75 & it would took somthing big for me to switch from Nokia
WM6 has SIP.
N95 has sip - and the recent software update addresses the speed issues.

SE 800i has 3.2Mpixels N95 has 5. You sure about which takes better photos?
IF the cost to you is no different or minimal go N95.
Megapixels are NOT the be all and end all of photo taking.

Im well aware of that, which is why Im still on a 5MP FZ20 rather than a 10MP FZ50. Its just that everything else being equal a 5mp resolution will produce a better image printed out to A4 than a 3.2MP one.
Like soopahfly said, megapixels dont define the quality of a camera, its actually more about the CCD itself and the processing that it goes through.
The photos are far better on the K800. The N95 Only takes decent photos in perfect lighting conditions, but even then the images look very lossy. The K800 takes good pictures in all conditions, especially with the xenon flash, as opposed to the poor LED on the N95, which is really only good up to 1M. And the K800 is alot faster when taking photos and saving, the N95 takes an age.
If you have the evidence then why are you asking us and wasting our time? :P

On the old software revision it did take a while, not now.
Serious :P I just wanted give you something to post about :D
Grrr, if you dont watch out Ill deport your thread to waffle and then youll be embarrassed
Just checked it out and youre right about the blurring, bit too much compression/processing. Sounds more like processing for noise though.
I have a K800 and the pictures are good for a phone but no where near good enough to be a camera. I still went out and bought an Exilim

is that n95 review on the old firmware? if so it needs updating!
SE K800i?? Iv had my K800i now for 10 months now and its been a solid brilliant phone, best phone iv ever had to date, my Dad has got the N95 phone and i think its good i like it a lot but there are a few noticeable bugs with it, like at random times the phone will restart itsself whenever you could be in a call, Nokia are aware of this issue and its the most common problem with the phone.
