.. nail varnish remover has to be the worst I have come across.
My brothers gf managed this very task this evening, keyboard is completely dead, found a place selling new ones for £21 so not the end of the world.

I once spilled half a pint into my keyboard...
being pretty drunk i tipped it back into the glass thinking I could still drink it...
and then stuck my mouth to the keyboard and sucked really hard to get the rest out and stop the keys getting sticky...

I sucked up the most horrible crap you can imagine, dust, crumbs, hair, dead spiders etc. etc. etc.

I once drank several shots out of an ashtray, but i reckon it was 10x cleaner than the average keyboard which they say is proven to be worse than licking a toilet bowl due to all the germs. FYI :muttley:
I spilled some red wine on my new cherry keyboard.. gutted me was :o(
cherry keyboards aint cheap + the wine was a nice vintage.
Unbelievable just knocked a glass of cola on my desk and soaked my mx1000, now its having issues :(

Put it in a warm bath, and leave it to soak, then let it properly dry and it'll be fine, unless it's a fancy one with an LCD or something!
