Title: OSX on PC
Post by: XEntity on February 05, 2008, 12:24:43 PM
Hi All,

I have vista on my new Dell Vostro 1700, The laptop is great... the OS is not! (It took me 10 minutes and a system restart to delete a shortcut from the desktop the other day!).

Now I know most would probably say put XP on it... which is what I had initially considered..

...But I think Im going to give OSX a go.. I know people have put it on my laptop.. and I can run XP in parallels if required.

has anyone had experience of OSX on a PC? How does it run? Do the fact its not MAC hardware make it more buggy?

Any help will be appreciated and the sooner I get rid of vista, the better really!

XE

I have it on mine but I never used it, it feels so, so slow. but I think its due to my cpu being a Newcastle core antlon64 its only SSE2.
