Ive got a PC thats been sat in its box for a couple of months, waiting for me to get around to formatting it and selling it.
So today Ive decided to do it but now it wont power on ?!?
When I stick the power lead into the PC a little light comes on the mobo and starts blinking. It blinks once every second forever.
The mobo is an Intel D101GGC and the light that is flashing is labelled CR1.
I have done some searching and all I can find is that this light show when the PC is in sleep mode.
I have taken the battery out and cleared the BIOS jumper but still it flashes.
Does anyone have any suggestions ?
Remove and reseat everything and just leave the proc and 1 ram and try a diff. know working psu.
Im assuming the PSU is ok as the light on the Mobo comes on (and flashes).
Ill try and reseat everything a bit later.
Ive got a mountain of stuff that I am trying to list for sale and this PC is just slowing me down. Im tempted to list it for sale as "not working" and hope for £40 or there-abouts on it.
Just because a PSU is supplying power doesnt mean it is functioning correctly. Its easy enough for them to develop a fault. Thats why one of these (of some sort) is handy.

Nice, that looks like a great tool.
Ill try and remember to tag that onto my next order :)
If it is the PSU then the PC is a wash out :s
The case is a Coolermaster ATC-630-B21 (half height desktop). As a result its got a propitiatory PSU in it :s
