I teach guitar and bass and one of my students - an 11 year old lad is annoying the cr*p out of me since he got GH3! His parents say if only he played on his guitar as much as he played on GH hed be amazing by now! ...Unfortunately, hes not.

HMV have PS2 guitar hero 3 with wireless Kramer guitar for £30. I picked up two of these and a 2nd hand PS2 from a mate for £30.

£90, but its so god damn worth it.

Cheapest Guitar Hero may well be the DS version...  

Nowhere near the same though and only has 4 buttons!

Think the cheapest method is to buy an xbox 360 controller for it, and install frets of fire
