Title: PCIe type SSD
Post by: knighty on December 28, 2015, 00:01:13 AM
looks like these are right down in price now, so they're not just high end server stuff anymore...

http://www.scan.co.uk/products/256gb-samsung-950-pro-m2-(22x80)-pcie-30-(x4)-nvme-11-ssd-ubx-3d-v-nand-read-2200mb-s-write-900mb-s-

anyone have one, or used one ?

tempted to get one...doubt I'll see any improvement in pc speed... just have that upgrade itch

A mate at work has M.2 SSDs and while they are faster he is pretty sure you wouldn't see any discernable difference if you already have fast SSDs.
