Title: Prebuilt computer recommendations?
Post by: zpyder on January 30, 2013, 15:56:37 PM
The GF's computer HDD died the other week. I dusted off my old computer that was living under the bed. My old comp is still crashing once daily, something to do with a memory incompatibility (never figured out what).

As I'd never be able to justify building a new computer versus the cost of buying a pre-built, any recommendations?

Didn't know if this was a good deal?

Their Zoostorm builds are good value, Bacon has been banging on about them before:

Some real bargains on Ebay also, when i was up Knighty's we picked up a Dual Core Desktop style pc (e7400 processor i think) with Windows 7 installed + Licence for about £120.

Otherwise as Clocked pointed out, the Zoostorm computers are proper cheap, its hard to build a system from scratch and compete with the prices.

Or if i could justify the cost of another computer, i would choose this (http://www.novatech.co.uk/pc/range/novatechpockitnpi01.html)
