Have been having a few odd crashes lately, when I noticed that the psu lower fan wasnt working and a bit of amber looking plstic/rubber stuff that lookecd like it had been melted from something in the PSU (Enermax 365 ve). Took it apart and found another blob of the stuff about 2 cubic cm in length. Removed both peices and seems to be running fine now.
Has anyone else had this problem occur? If so did the PSU last much longer?
On the safe side, I want to get another PSU, has to be ATX 1.0 compatible, but also ATX 2 with pci-e, sata, athlon 64x2 compatible, has to fit a lian pc-07 or pc-60 case.
Any suggestions for 500w psu and below should be ok if good make?
Cheers for any help offered!

They look the biz, bit more than I wanted to spend, but do like the look of then, not sure which to get the 530w or 580x.
lifetime warranty = win tbh
even good PSUs go bang every so oftern :(
yup my mate had a 580w hiper go bang about 2 months back. Sent it off... new one arrived a few days later :)
Id go 580w as you get just a little bit of extra capacity :) and if you ever want to upgrade to a beefier system or add a few SLI graphics cards, your going to need it.
