Has Anyone been following CES at all?
Some amazing stuff hitting shelves this year. This year looks to be a bigger jump in tech then last year by a mile.

It looks to be the year tablets flood the market and there will be good and bad ones of course.
The Blackberry playbook looks pretty dam nice. Duel Core Main chip with full multitasking. Engadget has had great coverage through out the show.
E-Ink showing off Colour Readers which is pretty cool as something else that caught my attention.
Anything people have seen that has interested them?

Been following it on hexus. Main thing I thought was lovely was the new Samsung ultrathin notebooks:

Thinner than the MacBook air and better spec'd with an sandy i5... shame about the +£1000 price tag :P

Good point it will still be cheaper than an Air but still out of my price range ;)

Airs are 900 upwards arent they? just checked they are.

wonder if you can run osx on the samsung. its certainly a good looking device.

Don't see why you couldnt stick OSX on the samsung, not sure why you would tho :P

as for price £900 for a Intel Duo Air on OSX or £1000 for the i5 sammy on Win7 I know what I would choose :)

I like the look of the Asus Eee tablet products. I would love a transformer, if only for the shock moments when people see the laptop screen get taken off. Great concept IMO.



But even these products are outside of my price range! £500+ is what I have heard...

Your one of the rare few that liked their offering..

The motorla with Honeycomb, The playbook, the Adam are the ones that caught peoples attention at CES.
The Ipad 2 wil be shown off soon and if rumour to be true will be quite an improvement.

Most think webOS is brilliant and HP buying Palm means that they can get better hardware as the Pre was sh*te. They should be showing off their new stuff really soon and an updated (to support tablets) webOS  HP tablets due end of this year lok amazing.
