Title: Removing PDF passwords?

Does anybody know how to remove passwords from PDF documents?

yes. theres loads of apps out there that do it :) quick ggoogle should find you some. :)

any password hacker - it is a sketchy topic tho as its the same way you un password protect zip files and everything else :)

Tasks toolbar\secure\remove security


or

In the security tab pf document properties dialog box chose No Security from the security method menu, when prompted specify the Permissions password and hit ok.

ahh ok I misunderstood - yeah you just turn it off when its open in the security tab

I havent got to option to do that, whats going on.

You need Acrobat and permissions password, I think you only have document opening password.

Yeah youre using Adobe Acrobat Reader (i.e. the free pdf viewer)
You need the full version i.e. Adobe Acrobat (-reader)

If its a one off and not private just mail it to someone who has a full version and theyll unlock it for you (I can if you like).  If it is private etc then just aquire adobe acrobat ;)

There must be free tools for it but tbh acrobats so useful anyway its worth just getting it
