Title: Scart Help
Post by: Pete on October 09, 2007, 18:00:14 PM
Ive got a scart freeview adapter (2 actually) but it wont fit in the back of the tv because its too big. Whats the neatest way of plugging them in?

Can you get L-shaped or angled adapters?

This pic is side-on:

Blue = back of TV, yellow = scart socket, black = freeview dongle.

SCARTs can be a total pain, Ive got a flat QED one that I thought would be nice and flexible, but oh no. Its tough enough to issue 40 lashes to that Nazareth lad without flexing.

Go to a Poundland and get a scart multisocket adaptor. It looks like a power one but for scarts. Providing you dont have more than one switched on at once there is no problem, if you do then the signals can nix each other but so far there has been no damage.
