Well I might be the only one who simply cannot wait for this release, however from the screen shots, it would appear they are quite easily able to convert old school classic 2d games onto the DS.

the re-released settlers 2 as "settlers 2 10th anaversory" or something like that... they made it 3D and its bloody terrible too :(

i was thinking the stupid 3d one looks almost identical to the old settlers 2..... tho the ground is all messed up in the 3d one, forgot about that ;)
Age of Empires is also out for it :) Ive not gotten round to buying it yet though..
ps. Star Fox is out for the DS ;) I just ordered it.. And it looks really good!

Yep tahts what I was just thinking... I keep putting off getting one becuase I know i wont really use it. I think the thing that is going to push me over the edge and make me get one is when then Wii is out and they show off the DS & Wii doing funky stuff together :)

Wicked. I used to love playing that on my Amiga 600HD (and later the A1200 AGA version). :) I think Ill be ordering this the nanosecond it comes out! :D
Has anyone got Yoshi Island DS? I loved it on the SNES. Best platform game ever imo. And I hate platform games.

i tryed it on 5 difrent comps and it crashed all the time .. thats including the comps i didnt fiddle with
No, it was excruciating. No where near as good as Settlers II which took away days of my life per gaming session. :bowdown:
thought it might be cos it was a dodgey copy, so i bought it and it did the same bloody thing .... havent tryed settler 2 tryed 3 that doesnt crash
