Quote from: Davetbh.. Id never get sky - sticking a dish on the side of your house is a bit too chavvy for me

Having a 5ft analogue aerial spiking off your roof so you can pick up Trisha and Corrie isnt?

Sky is still a luxury its not chavvy at all, the chavs all get freeview. I certainly wouldnt deny myself such a service on the basis of how a dish looks on my back wall where no one can see it (or give a rats arse).

I know a lot of people have free sky boxes and watch the free channels off that, not all areas have freeview available. Then again the people I see mostly asking about freeview are pensioners, not chavs. As Sky is a pay for service it certainly is one up for the average chav to have it, mostly for the football coverage.

Freeview?  As far as I can see, theres no moovee channels.  Whats the point o that?

No aerial installed on the mansion anyway...

Channel 4 have one on freeview, but the movies are all old.

Quote from: Clockd 0NeDo you have your own fibre optic downlink from Skys network then? How else do you maintain people get all the channels, freeview doesnt have half of what Sky has to offer after all.

Feeling a need to have so much TV is chavvy in itself - mainly because chavs have naff all else to do with thier lives and so need some form of distraction.

Anyway my evidence in support of sattelite dishes on the side of buildings being as chavtastic as trisha is attatched:

The same sight can be seen on practically any high rise in the UK.

What about disabled people - are they chavvy?  What a narrow-minded viewpoint you have.

Anyway, the latest; phoned Sky again to see what they could do regarding repair.  No concessions for a customer of eight years.

Reluctantly, I agreed to have the "repairs" done but they would only accept credit card.  "Can I have your credit card details please?" said the tele-bitch.  "No", I replied.  "I dont have one".  "What about your wife?"  "No, she doesnt have one either - were solvent".  "What about another family member?"  "What about a friend or a work colleague..."
Im sorry?  WTF?  :wtf:  She was asking me to use someone elses credit card?  "Cant I pay with debit card or cheque?" I asked.  "No, we only take credit cards" she replied.  "And this is how you treat a customer of eight years is it?" I retorted.  *click*

Sky are complete tossers.  Fact™
