Looking at putting slax (popcorn edition) on my usb stick for a carry round OS. Booted it via CD to a lappy (disabled pcmcia as it was locking it up) and its running fine. Only issue is I cant get a connection to the net. Can ping all our servers including our proxy but FF wont load anything even if I configure the proxy properly. Is there something very simple that Im having a dumb moment on?
