Title: Sony removing six-axis from europe

QuoteLondon (England) - In an effort to scale back the prohibitive cost of the PS3, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) is removing a couple features for the official launch next month. Hardware cut-backs will result in the removal of motion sensitive technology and will limit the backward compatibility of the system.

This is getting beyond a joke, and still the price is insane

Where have they got the info from that motion-sensing will be removed as the official press release mentions nothing about removing it and says that the console does come with a sixaxis controller.

Plus there are games that use it already out so I cant see this happening at all.

Sony are on a loser,, with this at the moment, they better get their patches out soon or no bugger is going to buy ps3 in Europe.

I find it hard to believe that sixaxis will be removed for Euro PS3s, its essential for controlling some of the PS3 games.
