Title: Sound Blaster Audigy in Shuttle SN41G2

Anyone ever tried disabling the onboard sound in one of these shuttles? that works fine, windows doesnt pick it up.

but then when I put the Soundblaster audigy in that my mate wants to run, it doesnt pick it up. anyone got any ideas why? the card doesnt even appear in device manager. its a pci device in the pci slot. the drivers disk runs but cant detect any soundblaster hardware in the pc. most strange...

Does it detect the soundblaster if you leave the onboard enabled ?

Does the soundblaster work in a different PC ?

I put a blaster in my SN41G2 with no problems !

No, it doesnt detect it, tried it both ways.

And just took it out of the guys old pc, in that order ;)
